Are you licensed?
Yes, I am a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT). In the state of Tennessee you must be licensed to legally practice massage on the public. In order to obtain your license you must graduate from an accredited massage therapy school with at least 500 credit hours and a clear background check. You must then pass the mBlex which is a state board test.
Will I be exposed?
No, you will not be exposed. You may dress down to your own comfort level privately and then get under a sheet on the massage table before I enter the room. Clients will be under a sheet the entire time.
I'm pregnant, can I still get a massage?
Certainly! Massage is great for women well into their third trimester. I practice prenatal massage in an elevated and/or side lying position for optimal comfort.
